Carbon fibre reinforced polymers (CFRP) provide the technology to strengthen an as built structure by providing post installed and bonded plates, rods or wraps on substrates to increase flexural capacity or load bearing capacity. The carbon fibre is bonded to the structure after thorough preparation. It can be designed to be installed to increase load capacities, where strengthening is required at new penetrations, or where mechanical damage has weakened a structure. WHA are one of few qualified and experienced contractors for the Sika® Carbodur® System.
